Painting RVF in VFR colors.
What do you guys think about painting an rvf in VFR Colors,
I'm thinking of the bottom two right colors, the silver/black and the red/black one. My bike's all scratched up and it's got a dent in the tank and i was thinking of just getting a new color scheme.

Do it.
It's your bike and done right it could look really well, most folk just do the RVF in either RR or RT colours with a few white with a black design rather than a colour, yours would be the only one I've seen done differently

It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

do it, this vfr is in seed colours with rc45 tail and the scheme really suited the shape of the fairing (which is a lot more rvf like)

^^^
Indeed.
The NC35 top fairing and headlight looks like it was inspired by this RVF750:-

I think the Seed colours would suit an NC35 nicely.

Hmmmm the more I look at the seed colors the more I like it. I was just thinking the red one cause my bike's already red anyway and it really pops out in person, red doesn't look that great in pictures but in real life it just stands out i've noticed.
I sent an pm to 'Brooky' the decals guy, but my message is just still in the outbox so I don't know if he'll get it or not. I live here in sydney and so I'd like him to ship the needed decals to me. How much would a paint job in the u.k. cost btw? I found a place here in sydney a 'budget' shop that does full resprays for 700dollars, most shops i contacted quoted me at 3000-4000 :O

Paint it yourself, it's not hard to get a great result with spray cans and lacquer.
You'll have more pride in it and enjoy yourself along the way!

Re: Painting RVF in VFR colors.
that's what I really wanted to do, cause I really wanna learn how to do it myself and stuff but i live right in the middle of the city and as such i don't have any space :/ (in the future I plan to move to a house with a garage), on a side note a lady saw me cleaning my chain with kerosene and called building security saying i had a 'bomb' 0.o (she saw the flammable sign on the bottle)Cammo wrote:Paint it yourself, it's not hard to get a great result with spray cans and lacquer.

But yeah, hopefully brooky will get back to me soon or I'll just give him an international call, cause i got a week long uni break coming up in 3 weeks, and just maybe i'll be able to get the bike done within that week.
