NC29 clutch friction plates...

Last year i bought cheap set of "power plate" friction & steel plates, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! they have a known issue with not working in NC29s, & when checked against Haynes min wear specs.. its shocking! & worst bit is the shops who sell them KNOW there is an issue & still sell them!

Both sets were near min use spec & some were under it!.. sent the lot back & put the old ones back in the bike.

i still need to change the friction plates as 1 good thing came of the balls up is that my steel plates are fine/not warped.
i have found a range of sets from reputable to unknown..

GF: OEM (honda) £62 not inc P+P http://www.gfracinguk.com/clutch-fricti ... p-557.html
Busters: EBC £53 not inc P+P http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/pr ... &kw=clutch
Ebay: EBC £51 inc P+P
wemoto: Gecko?.. £35 not inc P+P...http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/cbr_4 ... t_-_gecko/

not too sure about the Gecko set.. but EBC is a well known make, thinking of wallet here too...
Anyone tried the Gecko set or stick to EBC?

For an extra 11 quid I would have got the Honda one if it was my bike.
That way you know what you're getting and that it's fit for purpose
