NC35 fork question

I stripped my forks down to replace the leaking fork seals, also replacing the springs and bushings while I'm in there. The only problem is that I didn't have the Haynes manual (I have a factory manual for an identical set of forks form another model) and I didn't RTFM before starting dis-assembly.
I removed the damper adjuster from the damper assembly, now I'm trying to figure out how far down to thread it onto the damper rod before tightening the locknut. The manual states to not remove the rebound damping adjuster.
If I thread it down all the way I only have about 7 clicks total adjustment. I know I can correct this by threading it further up the damper rod before tightening the locknut, the only thing I'm trying to figure out is how many total clicks of rebound these forks have?
