Do I need to rejet

Hey just can't find if its been covered before or not but just installed a full tyga exhaust system on an nc35.

Just wonder what happens if I don't rejet for a while. It smells rich after staring up, smells like unburnt petrol coming from the rear. Not sure if it is though. How do you roughly tell if its rich or lean. I know for a definate answer you would need a dyno tune but any other ways to tell.

Thanks in advance guys.

Check the jets that are in it..set it all as standard and go from there.

Dyno run to check it is well worth it and cheap compared to a few hundred quid on the pipes!

Definitely will be getting a dyno soon but just running around now will much damage be caused?

If it is rich now then it was even richer on standard pipes...

lean is what kills engines..rich just makes you slow and wastes fuel!

IMHO, if the bike is too lean you'll get stuttering and flat spots as the revs climb, you will know it's not right long before any engine damage - just don't try racing or prolonged flat out like this (usual disclaimers apply )
