is that not the clip that holds the idle screw adjuster (down on the L/H side near the choke) ?

is it not the doobery that is on the top rad and the speedo and clutch cables go through it?

Defiantly not the idle adjuster. Could be for speedo/clutch cables anyone got a photo of it in situ?

It's a bracket that bolts onto the bottom yoke behind the horn for the front brake hoses.

It does look like the bracket for the front brake lines just squashed up a bit
