It's a lot of money for jets, washers and a drill bit! You're far better off just buying the correct sized jets yourself.
Pure marketing genius...

10% gain with intake and exhaust work? Erm, I thought if you did that and jetted right you'd maybe just about scrape up that sort of gain anyway? (give or take the missing words 'a lot of')

So the NC30 makes 59hp stock, lets say that's 60 because it's easier.
10% of that is 6 (I'm a genius I know

)
Surely just a change to a full system with proper jetting could see that 6hp? Nevermind intake work.
Yet another money making excercise, too many of them around, just like that app that was posted up on here the other day.....

How many NC30's do you know that make proper 65hp with an aftermarket system and jets.
There was a dynograph thread floating around I think somewhere, most of them are from 58-62hp.

Theoretically < Should have added that word
I know most won't make anywhere near 60hp stock, they are 20 years old, but surely 10% is an easy gain with full system and re-jetting?

Mine made 62bhp, that was with a full micron system and ported heads, Standard induction system but jetted to suit.

A lot depends on the dyno what figure you get out, the only way to see progression is to use the same dyno every time and mark the difference.

Actually im lying, it only made 61bhp after a correction factor was made for the ambient temp etc.

as the bike has so little power anyways then the variety of dyno plays a big part.
my bike was dyno'd at 61.9 with std system, nothing at all jetting wise and an ART can
roll forwards a few years to a Yamamoto twin stack, open RVF carbs, jetted and fettled and ignitech cdi etc etc..you know the drill...and 59bhp and the smoothest most lovely curve ever.
If there is a jet kit anywhere that can give you 10% gains, over a std jetting setup that was actually correct for the bike - I would be amazed.
IThere is not going to be any NC30 making anything much over 62/3 without some work done to it.
The Bemsee 64bhp class for 400s has a lot of bikes that are all wearing nice gear but not the 1+mm overbores (for non hondas)
