Just bought this can someone tell me if this is the bad rectifier knowm for overheating as on my bike I have the big flat one with no fins and want to put the best one on to avoid generator or wiring problems?

You cut it off?

They do run really hot. Providing the votage is fine then it sounds normal to be hot.

I didnt cut it off this is the one I have just bought and want to know which is the better of the two I have to use as both are working??
