It needs some carbon, perhaps a front mudder, rear chain guard etc........ £4k in the end. Has only done 3336 miles at pick up.
Thats a lot of bike for £4K
Rides like a dream, goes like stink, pretty bloody impressed.
Some Pazzo's and a Ohlins steering damper taboot
Bought as per photo, however that excuse for an exhaust has been bought by someone with no taste on ebay for 200 and replaced by an Akrapovic carbon number, much to do.

Yes a lot of bike for the money there and i may be bias but i really think this generation was the last good looking GSXR made.
Good move on the pipes, Harris are they? a mate had a set on a R1 and sounded well OTT

Glad you got rid of that horrid exhaust, ruins the bike. Always liked them, I'd have one.
Has the Hyper gone?

Yes the Harris pipes were known as GP twin Exhaust, and its all in the name, i.e. feckin obnoxiously loud, 107 db. Best suited to a special build.
Aye Alex, the Hyper has gone, I plan on doing some solid miles abroad this year, and neither the Hyper nor my 916 are best suited. So following a chat with a K6 owner journo friend, I plumed for this.
I am looking forward to banging some serious miles on it

No doubt I will be whoring it out on a daily basis, you are more than welcome fella. But be warned, you will just end up wanting one.

May I make a suggestion regarding the front calipers Nige? They're the same Tokico's as on my B1h and well, they're not the best even after new seals and fresh fluid. A relatively cheap and massive performance upgrade is to change them for a set of Nissins from an 07 onwards ZX6r or ZZR1400. I can't believe how much better they are and they're a straight forward bolt on. They always seem cheaper when they come from a ZZR even though it's the same caliper which is a bit odd. I think I paid £100 for my used set.

Cheers Martin, but how dare you suggest sensible upgrades so early in my ownership, surely I need to spend my money on anodised items, rim tape and stickers, before any of that shit.

Sorry mate. You could always offset my sensible suggestion by fitting one of these as well.
