I saw these:

Curved rads for NC30. Price is good. I have seen good feedback about the GPI jobbies - but they ain't curved.
Anyone bought these yet?

I spoke to this supplier a while ago, see the sticky in the for sale section re groub buy on rads but at the time they wouldnt go down in price that much, however they now seem to have dropped the price.
They provided me with the technical drawings and were quite helpfull, however I have not ordered any so cant comment on quality

Thanks,
Hey bollo, 'scuse the naive question, but what core size are the standard rads? I am guessing you want the thicker cores for more serous stuff. Racing?
By comparison, do you know what core size the GPIs are?

I was looking at these for my race bike. Hmm, for comparison, do you know what the core size of the standard rads is?

Making curved radiators over about 26 mm is problematic because the tubes in the radiator core will not bend without crimping. To get around this some manufacturers use dual-tube cores, if you contact RB Racing in Sydney Australia they can supply curved 32 mm race upper radiators for the NC30 that use dual-tube cores. For thicknesses over this you could do what HRC do and make a radiator core that is a sandwich of 2 thinner cores curved to the same radius and sharing the same tanks. Expensive.
I make 32 mm straight upper and lower race radiators for the NC30 and NC35 and use them on my race bike here in Thailand. I have no issues with clearance to the front tyre under braking or with controlling temperatures, the motor is unmodified but the ambient track temperatures are extremely high. The primary purpose of a curved radiator is to provide a greater frontal surface area, if a straight radiator does the job what does it matter? Curved rads do look the business though.

I'll be interested to hear your opinion of them.
