Is the rod end on the gearbox shaft (ie not the rod end that's attached to the gear lever itself) left hand or right hand thread? I haven't got a complete 3TJ to hand to check. Ta.

Hi Kayla;presuming you are on with the rearsets?
The pedal rod is threaded right hand at the gear change clamp rose joint and left hand at the pedal rose joint..
This is true of all Yamahas.
