hi i have an Honda super four nc31 its bin restricted to 33 bhp and it was running fine iv left it for about 6 months i started it up the other day and it was fine on the choke but it would stall if i took the choke off, iv gave the carbs a good clean and new air filter and now it runs fine over 4000 revs but stalls when idle iv adjusted the butterflys on the cabs so it idles about 2000 revs but stalls when i try to rev it any idea any one please

"you have adjusted the butterfly"
What have you been fiddling with? Are you confident with the carbs? Don't want to grief you, but I suspect not and reckon that if you go and start turning screws on carbs without knowing why then you can easily make it a lot worse.
You'll need to, ideally, get it onto a dyno and see the air/fuel graph. might cost you a few quid but it will be sorted.
Or..you need some time and a bit of patience. Get the carbs set to the std settings for the bike, probably reduce the main jet sizes to account for the restriction and then go from there.
Am sure the collective skills on here can assist you

Ahhh.. the idle screw - get you.
So, it won't idle unless that is srcew right in?
Are the chokes working? Can they close or are they stuck open?

Had the same sort of problem with my NC30 recently, turned out it was running too rich.
Sounds like your's could be too, especially seeing as it's restricted.
