Hi All,Just re-building my GK 76 spII forks new stanctions, seals and so on. Im after some info on the rebound settings? (1) how many clicks is the range on the rebound adjusters ie from 1 to 10? (2) On the damping rod there is a locking nut which locks the fork cap in position, depending on the position of this locknut it will change the amount of travel (clicks) available on the rebound adjuster. There is normally a length setting for the locknut to the top of the damper rod?my R1 is 10.2 and a ZXR is 11.5 measured from the locknut face to the end of the thread on the damping rod,Does anybody know this setting?. Any other info on sp folks would be helpfull, base settings ect. Hope someone can help Thanks Tk

I'm not sure if this helps at all but can't you take the bike to a reputable suspension tuner and get them to set it up for you, as the amount of clicks on yours may be different to someone elses and they can also set it up for your weight etc.

I got my Ducati 748 setup at Harris Performance in Hertford and it was only £40

Thanks ace, its not suspension settings im after i have no problems with ride setup, what i need is a measurement for the correct position of the locknut(which determines the range of clicks available) on the damper rod which locks the forkcap in place.
If someone that has an 76 sp and can let me know how many click positions there are on the forks eg from 1 to 12 max then i can work out the position of the locknut,i dont need to know which number of clicks they have theirs set at.
Thanks again ace for your help Tim
