hi i have been browsing the threads and i noticed there are a few different wheels being used... oem, pvm, marchesini and carbon ones.
i am wondering what wheels are best for their money? also what other wheels will fit the nc30/35 any ducati wheels or triumph wheels?

I don't know a great deal on the subject being new to the V4 world, but I am pretty sure VFR750R Rear Rims fit - to give you a 17" tyre size, however i not sure if it would need machining or no.

The 5 spoke vfr rear needs a modified hub from rick oliver , other brands such as pvm , dymag , magtek ect are much the same but it just depends on whats available at the time .
Prices seem to vary , nc35 rear from £200+ , dymag , pvm ect from £500-£1000 . They make decent money.
I have a pair of 3 spoke pvm s from a rs250 which fit with minor modifications.
From what i have read you dont really want to much past a 5.5" rear as it can be done but seems to involve alot more work.
Some say you need a 520 chain conversion and a sprocket spacer kit , i guess i will find out soon.

what do you want to do is the best way to answer that question.
Is it a race bike or a road bike? and is it nc30 or nc35
You can still get BT090's in the stock NC30 18" size that are sticky enough for every road condition I can think of.
Track you might be better with something else but depends on bike / use / etc
Bit more info is needed I think

Oh and as for other makes of bike fitting , i bought i pair of daytona/speed triple wheels and they were complely different, luckily i sold them for more than i bought them for , although i think the ducati rears can be modified/adapted to fit

Not seen one for a while but a while back the 17inch rear wheel from a bros/revere was a popular choice on trackbikes possibly need modded to fit. Doesn't look right on an nc30 road bike IMHO but that's another.

NSR250 MC28 wheels also fit, if you can find an SP rear magtek it has a small amount of magnesium and is lighter than a standard RVF wheel....not cheap and hard to find though.

That would be from a VFR750, not the VFR750R (RC30)
