Which sprocket for RVF400?
What's a good upgrade, aftermarket sprocket? Tyga aluminum? I wouldn't think Aluminum would be a good choice for a sprocket...

Re: Which sprocket for RVF400?
I've always run Renthal aluminium rear sprockets, never had any sort of issue with them, apart from the one that was on the bike when I first got it and I adjusted the chain poorly and ripped off every third tooth... lol I've done almost 80000kms on the several sets of chain and sprockets I've had since, always Renthal ali rear, steel front and a DID X-ring chain. Apart from my own stupidity on that one occasion, everything's been fine.

Re: Which sprocket for RVF400?
Our TYGA Performance aluminium sprockets were run all year in World Moto GP in Moto 2 without problems so they are well up to the task. Ok, if you expect to go 40,000 miles maybe they will not go the distance but we've never had any problems either. The weight saving is substantial (weighs around 30% of steel one) and being unsprung an aluminium sprocket is a very cost effective upgrade say compared to getting lightweight wheels.

The fitment for the sprockets for the Moto 2 bikes (I think the whole grid but definitely the Bimoto and the FTR is the same as Marchessini which is also the same as the BST carbon

i've always used renthal hardened rear sprocket and genuine honda front (as it has rubber sides that the aftermarket ones don't have)
