Had a brilliant day out and decided once my nc29 is finished its going up for sale and im getting another mk1 fireblade as there was one at the show and i miss mine .

Did you notice that early fireblade had 86k miles on it and was spotless!!

Wow that's a lot of photos! Looks like you had a great day. I'd love to go, but we can't justify the cost of it anymore.

But did you notice it wasn't really "original" it looked like it had a respray and had cheap replacement graphics put on. I will get another one again thinking of selling the nc29 to get one

And yes Jo we had a brilliant day so much so we are thinking of going back on sunday, i need Guy martin and the dunlop brothers to sign my helmet :D lol

i had a RRX in the lapis blue / gold colour, and i have to be honest i dont think the early blade has aged well at all.
they look very heavy and clumsy now. fast bikes though.

You see i like the look of the older blades, i like the chunkyness lol.
Same with cars i prefer my older cars, just one of them things.
I also had the 900rrn and loved it, wish i had never sold it

The new blade is really nice but sitting on it you dont feel like your on a proper bike as there smaller than older ones, or is that just me? lol

I went yesterday, one word- sh1te. haven't been for 20 years and won't bother agin for another 20. much smaller than it used to be, you can go to a dealer and see most of the new stuff, which leaves you paying £19 to look around 'shops' selling discounter stuff. Sorry I'm negative but really felt it was a waste of a day. I think the Stafford Classic Show is much better value, far more to see

I fly over on Friday evening to see show on Saturday.
Looking forward to it, went last year & enjoyed the day.
