rvf wheel straight swap to nc30?

hi all i am new here and am about to start my nc30 project ... just as soon as i finish my kitchen that is...

apart from buying the bike and soaking her with wd40 ... and a quick look around ...thats about as far as i have got

..... now to the point ..... forget the for play .... i might have a set of RVF 400 NC35 wheels as a friend is selling his and i mentioned swapping the wheels .... oooooo 17inch front and back

..... thats the idea ? but all i can find out is that the back will fit and will need the link from the rvf to get the hight right ? .... but is the front a straight swap with the discs fitted / please help i need to move fast or i will loos out ...

The front wheel/disks are a straight swap between the NC30 and the 35.

sounds like you have done what i am planning ? so just a matter of switching the wheels ? ...... thanks mr jim157 :)

I haven't done it mate but it's a pretty common 'upgrade'. I believe you'll have to use the NC30 spacers with the front NC35 wheel but apart from that it's a direct swap. The rear is a straight swap, apart from the aforementioned ride height issue.

You always see that message, its just a reminder.
Anyhow, yes you can fit both without doing anything.
As you have already mentioned, if you don't change the RVF shock linkage as well the ride-height won't be right and will affect the bike a little.
