Is it worth buying the NC30 chain adjusting tool? does i make adjusting the chain easier?

Definately worth getting one as otherwise you would have to use a hammer and punch which would lead to chewed adjustment teeth.

Tools often cheaper from davidsilverspares than on ebay too so it's worth checking them.

Chain adjustment takes 5 mins, tis dead easy.

And the drive-chain should be 'checked' every 600miles, that doesn't necessarily mean adjust it, but check it.

And I like to use Castrol Chain Wax.

i use wurth dry chain lube, goes well with the white wheels.
you cant be serious about your NC30 if you dont have a chain adjustment tool, i wouldn't buy a bike off a fella unless he had one. its far easier to adjust that bikes with chain adjusters on both.
get a cheap haynes off ebay, it'll save you a lot of ball ache

second that,the teeth on the bearer holder on my nc30 are chewed to hell......luckily ive got a replacement to fit!!!!

EP90, brush it on, wipe it off, leaves a nice clean chain, Mr Honda recommends it too.

ep90 gear oil? or some product with the same name im not familar with?

As for gear oil, I find it needs too much maintanace. Guess it depends on what your riding condition are like.

Scott-oilers are highly rated just never got aroud to getting one.

EP90 gear oil, thats the one, cheap as chips, just needs to keep the o rings lubed and stop the chain rusting.
