Hi Guys.

I new to the ZXR 400, (just bought it ). i have a Aprilia RS 125, but this is something new.

I never checked the Valves clearences, i havent checked the cam chain and the tensioner.
But how do i Change the cam chain?

I read somewhere that you have to change it at 36.000 kilometers.
Mine has gone 35 now.

you change it when it needs changing, if its not rattling at low revs, then dont change it.

there are 2 ways, engine stripdown and fit a continuous chain, or split the existing chain, feed the new chain onto that, and then join the ende together when the new chain gets would to the top again...on a 400cc a riveted end is fine, for anything bigger i would always use a continuous link.
