The unit should come with a cd with the software and maps.
I got mine from Graeme france and had a hrc map already loaded on the unit for around £175
I think Rick o does them for the nc30 aswell with map already on for around £135

I woudlnt buy one at all.

unless youve done some major engine work or been changing cams / pistons etc then I cant really see a use for it.

Rick did some back to back dynoing with a stock unit and there wasnt any improvement if I remember rightly, certainly nothing for spending over 100gbp on.

What are you wanting it for / expect it will do though I guess it the question.

The HRC map is designed to work with the HRC cams / pistons and everything else, without all that it doesnt do anything for the bike.

Yep - Neo is right. I have been doing a lot of reading of late on ignition advance and why the ignition needs to be advanced at different loads/rpm and unless you have tuned your engine substantially from stock, there seems to be little gain.

Sometimes I think people incorrectly think of ignition mapping being the same as fuel mapping on FI engines.
