Seat Cowl for a 73
No, this isn't another "Is there a seat cowl I can buy for a 73?" thread.
I'm intending to try and make a seat cowl for my bike. I have some experience in fibreglass having made dashboards and other parts from it over time.
What I'm wondering is if anybody else would be interested in buying one?
They'll no doubt be quite expensive (£100-£150 ish) and it would be a very limited production run. They would come primed but otherwise unpainted.
I'm intending for it to be a direct swap on/off replacement for the pillion seat. I havent yet decided if I want to incorporate the rear plastic brake light cover into it but I may well do (the shaped piece of plastic that goes at the back of the pillion seat).
If there is enough interest (e.g. more then 10 people want one) I may also consider doing one for the 76 although someone will have to lend me their bike for a few weeks or be available nearby for trial fittings etc.
I'm hoping to start making a 73 mould this week although this depends on how busy I am.
