Alternative forks for GK73a

Hi guys,
Both of my fork stanchions are quite pitted right where the seals fit and as such eat seals. I don't really want to replace them with equally pitted forks from ebay and I don't want to have to get them re-chromed either.

So, I know there are some alternative forks that fit a 76, are there any forks known to fit the 73? I'm happy to turn some spacers for the front wheel, but how does it work with the front discs and callipers?

I'd prefer USD's but I don't know if thats possible without changing the yokes.

Thanks!

There is no direct fit alternative.
the stock are 41mm so you could go that way but its usually more work than worth.
USD's will not work without yokes, wheel, discs etc.
Closest fit would be 76a forks tho you would still need the complete front.
Re chrome is best way to go.
