Hi guys, I need to get my carbs off but have hit a problem from the start!!
The bolts holding the carb rubbers tight are all worn and I can only undo 1 of them.
somebody has had a go at them before and made a mess of the bolt heads! I have tried WD40 but they aint budgin'
Any wonderful special secret way of removing them? I won't tell, I promise! ;)
I have new bolts to replace them with so it doesn't matter if I f*ck em right up as long as they come off!
 's please.

(It's an NC30 by the way)

Yep but i've done it!
managed to get 3 loose (1 top and 2 bottom ones) and then just pulled and wiggled till the carbs popped off!
I have had to hacksaw through the bolts to get em off but like I said I have already bought new ones.
Its gettin dark now and I dont have lights in my garage so I will continue tomorrow.
Thanks.

give it a hoover and clean before you carry on. Sounds saft but you dont want little metal filings finding their way through the engine.

And once the carbs are off, stuff the inlet holes with some rags to stop anythng else dropping in there!
