I have an oil leak on the cover which covers the starter gears. There seems to be an oil feed at the very bottom of the cover and even with a new gasket it is leaking. Any ideas? The oil is a disgusting colour, so that will have to be changed as well.

I have found the problem. The cover has a hair line fracture in it. I found it when was cleaning all the old gasket off with a blade and it broke off when I put some pressure on it from the side with my finger.
Does anyone have one spare as I have a track day on Friday.

cracked mine also but i used some chemical metal and it worked a treat till i got another one
