VFR 400 NC30 chain tensioning

Hi I have got a loose chain on my vfr and I can't see where you tension it from.. Anyhelp?

The nc30 uses an eccentric hub, so you'll need to slacken the hub pinch bolt off and use a c-spanner to turn the whole hub round with the teeth.

If you dont have a Haynes manual, download the service manual from this sites document library off the homepage

Please please don't use a drift or screwdriver or else you'll chew up the lugs and then it'll be a new hub! You can get the spanners on flea bay or use jap4performance/tyga. Gavin is on here from jap4. usually offers free delivery.

Thank you for the help! what size C spanner do i need? and is the bolt a 32mm? :S

bolts a 17mm i think you will find

James - IIRC the pinch bolt is 17mm - as for C spanner.... err pass!

Thank you :) I'm going to buy that tonight and get that chain tight! :) thank you for all the help! :) when I'm insured I'll have to come on a ride out :)
