RVF not running quite right after carb clean

Took my RVF for its MOT today and whilst it passed, it wasn't running quite right on the way there or back. Just to recap I've done the following:

-Carbs off cleaned
- float heights checked and adjusted
-main jets replaced with GF 108 dynojet replica kit
- Rick Oliver HRC replica carb springs fitted
- New Carb rubbers fitted
- Air screws set at 1 and 5/8 open

I set the bike up with a carb tune pro and got all the carbs synced. it idles fine. It's difficult to describe but the bike feels like its holding back throughout the rev range, won't pull cleanly and just feels fluffy. On part throttle it just sounds to be misfiring.

I'm not sure where to start looking, as it could be a multitude of things, just wondering whether to try bigger jets. I know most of you guys recommend larger Kehin jets 120 ish all round.

thanks
Dan

also, I fitted non genuine rubber hoses, a new section of 8mm internal dia fuel hose to the T section from the tank, and a new vacuum hose from tap to inlet tract.

Does the length of the vacuum hose effect it's performance of suction? if so can anyone let me know the optimum length, the old one on the bike was perished and looked too short, like it has been cut down.

I'll check the vacuum is actually working when I get the tank off, but the bike feels a bit like its hesitating, almost like when the fuel is running low prior to switching onto reserve.

Should reserve be gravity or vacuum fed?
