I've recently fitted a new Hagon shock, bought from Graeme France. I just need to set it up, although I have been riding the bike with it "as is" and it seems relatively OK. However I have noticed that the bike "hopped" a bit when I took a tightish right hander failry leant over and it didn't do that with the old shock.

Could it just be a case of setting the Hagon correctly? I've got the suspension st up link from here.

I'm considering refurbing the old shock anyway. Is this something I can do myself or is it best to send it to an expert such as Revs?

I had a hagon on a nc30. Set the sag using the guide then take the bike out take a small Allen key with you that fits the damping adjuster on the shock bottom and adjust to suit your personal preference. It may take a bit of time from memory mine only seemed to have a fine area where there was a noticeable diffence in the adjustment.

You can set the compression and rebound up after that by riding your favourite routes and dialing it in to your liking.
