Hey guys could anybody point me towards a site or shop I can buy the O rings to overhaul my carbs.
Model in questions is a GK76A mid 90's Gsxr 400
I have found the sigma kits and intend to get one to help sort out the fuelling but it would be pointless if the O rings are worn.

Polymax.co.uk
For all o rings. £25 x25 of each lifetime supply
Jet holder and float bowl gaskets ..... Suzuki cost £64 ish for all four carbs
Same for diaphrams etc....
Suzuki may not help you with it being an import unless your trade...if this is the case google Granbymotors.
They in ilkeston derby. And can post items out to you for small cost. But suzuki will deal with them as they require part numbers and they have a system that can provide them for you.
Vvs will sort you out a kit also. If you do t want a lifetime supply
Hope this helps you mate.

Greetings,
I usually lurk on the Yamaha section. I have previously made inlet manifold rubbers for the Yamahas and you can see them at
viewtopic.php?f=64&t=35329
I needed some carb kits for my 400 Yamaha but they cost the planet and none of them contained all of the O-rings I need. So I am putting kits together. This involves having moulds made for all the odd shaped bits. They should be finished in about two weeks.
Since I am in the process, I am posting under the other sections to see if anyone is interested in having kits for their bikes. They will contain all O-Rings including float bowl o-rings etc. All will be made in Viton not Nitrile. Total cost will be about 10 to 20 GBP for 4 carbs. Post is FREE to anywhere in the world. That is because I am in Thailand and it doesn't cost the planet to send something.
It takes a lot of lead time to get these things done so I am trying to decide whether to make for the Honda, Suzuki or Kawasaki next.
If you think you would be interested then please post a comment.
cheers

Or you could just buy a Viton O-Ring splicing kit and make your own

Are you suggesting that you can splice one of these?

Would be good to make the D shaped seal that fits in the GK76A carb, think its used in the RF600 aswell.

I found an article on
http://tonysleep.co.uk/info/great-gsxr4 ... omment-549 which indicates the Suzuki has the same problems as the Yamaha. More importantly, after perusing the parts book it seems the Suzuki shares the same basic carbs as the 3TJ1 400 Yamahas. For example the fuel seals 13673-44B00 appear to be the same as the Yamaha items etc etc. I will start work on these kits and post back when I have some news. I do them all in green Viton just to distinguish them from everything else.
If someone has some old carbs and could lend me a floatbowl and a jet housing (13220- 33C00) I would be grateful and in return I will give you a free kit for 4 carbs. Of course I will paypal you for the post.
