Couple of questions

Hi Guys,
my names Dave and my brother has a GSXR 400, he is a memeber on him but lost his password or something and it wont reset or something.

The issue: running very rich, mechanic sugested the Carbs need an overhaul and so we have taken the bike off the road to try and do this ourselves. Now he has next to no experience other than the odd oil change and yet managed to get these carbs off by himself so he has got the knack for it. I previously did motorsport engineer about 5years ago but am not working in the trade, i usually do our genral servicing on our cars so have a rough idea on what im doing but bikes are new to me (i do own a cbr125 that i recently purchase to begin my motorbike journey lol)
Any way the bike is running rich, last time he started (i think) it ran on three cyclinders untill warm and the indicators packed up (oddly just a week after my cbr ones packed up).
He has so far got the carbs out so we need some o rings which we ordered from vvs.
also the screws, should they be adjusted 1.5 or 1.8 on this thing? and is it adjust from its tightest postion or what?
Any help appreciated on where to locate o rings and how we do this whole carb thing :)
