Never really looked at it off the bike, but I think my Ohlins has some lateral movement. I just measured the distance between the inside of the rear shock mount for comparison and the Ohlins is 30mm.

Is it not slightly loose so it acts like a pivot/rebound if you get me

I'm unsure it may be supposed to be like that but as its my first nc30 I thought I'd check before everything is bolted in place

Be careful. I have one on the shelf in my garage that I will measure for you a bit later.

There was a craze a few years ago of fitting a Aprillia RS250 shock, in order to do that you needed to shave that part of the linkage down.

Did it have a standard shock fitted?

Edit - Just measured the bush, it's 30mm. That suggests your Nitron has the wrong fork fitted.

It's brand new hence just finding out if they have just put the wrong end on. A shorter bolt will make no difference as its the u part at the bottom of the shock that seems to be too wide

i see, didnt look closely, just use some washer/shims to space it out.
