Hey guys

looking for a tyre that will be used mostly for commuting, but also the odd weekend ride as well. Wet grip is not a major concern as I dont ride too much during the wet.

Options i was looking at were:
Pirelli angels or Metzeler Z8

I've never ridden on Angels on a 400, but have them on the CBR and I don't like them. Take too long to heat up, not overly inspiring in the wet because they stay cold and they last too long (yes, I'm serious LOL) They are wooden, give no feedback and inspire no confidence. If you are looking a high mileage tyre and do a lot of commuting and don't need the best grip from a tyre then they are good, but just aren't for me.

You serious?

I find they warm up a hell of a lot quicker than BT023s. They have a lot more wet grip than the BTs as well. Much more confidence inspiring!

Maybe you just ride too slow ;)
