Up to you I guess but all I reckon the do is make a lot of noise and mess up the fueling. Put a standard size race can on it and it will be fine.

Fair point mate, any suggestions where to look for a new one had a flick through the net and not having to much luck on finding one specifically for an fzr 3tj.

any can of the right diameter will be ok but as you say it's the link pipe and I don't think I've seen one.
