NC30 Lightweight rear subframe + battery box

Hi all,

I have a NC30 track bike with the stock rear subframe on it. The plastic mud guard is gone and the battery box is made from the remnants.

I'd like to put a lighter subframe on there and put a 'matching' battery box as well. I see Rick O does one, but no battery box as far as I can see , and Tyga does as well, but it is only for their RC211V bodywork.

Options? Get the Rick O one and make a batery box to suit? Or are there others out there?

Many thanks,

Greg.

I reckon it's loads cheaper and not difficult to make your own out of box section alloy (bunnings), cut it and bolt it together then take it to a good tig welder, brace it with sheet alloy if needed. Job done.

Ken from Mega-Cycle makes one that also raises the seat by about 20mm to give you more leg room. Both Frank and I have this on our bikes, give me a call and we can chat. I also plan to make one during the winter, we can also mull that over....... It will be a beauty!

It's either Mega-Cycle or Pro-Mecha - cant remember.
