I've done a quick search and couldn't find what I would like to know so here goes...

...what 'Honda specific' tools do I need for general maintenance & how muh to pay/where from?

I have most sizes of sockets etc, but I realise I need a 'chain adjuster' tool & a rear 'wheel nut' socket. Are these the main ones?
I've seen 'chain tools' on eBay for around £17, what do you guys recommend?
Can I get these tools from a 'normal' Honda dealer?

Any advice would be appreciated as funds are low..

The Chain / Shock C spanner is part of the standard NC30 toolkit.. You can buy the stock Honda one for less from David Silvers / any Honda dealer.. its' two parts.. the spanner and the handle.

The aftermarket ones usually have a built in longer handle which can be convenient but they don't fit well under the seat if you want to take them with you.

The wheel nut is a standard size (can't remember off the top of my head) so just need a normal socket for it.

The only 'special' tools you'd need are the castellated socket for removing the swing/arm / engine.

41MM yoke nut
48MM? Hub nut? (i think)
36MM Wheel nut

Thanks for the replies, that's just the info I needed. Better get ordering ready for when/if the rain ever stops!

Rear hub nut is 46mm... I know because I need one!

ive borrowed one from my neighbour (i still have it shhh)

i did initially put 46 and then thought i was getting the 6mm mixed with the wheel nut, problem i have is i have an A/F equivilent socket so cant quote the size,
