relay question

hi im finally getting round to fitting my led indicators and want to replace the honda flasher relay unit , but as my bike is at my mates workshop right now i dont know if its a 3 pin or 2 pin unit , or if swapping the relay over will even work , help please as i am really crap with electrics on bikes its not my bag

bump on the relay flasher unit thingymabob is it a 3 or 2 pin jobby ?

OEM NC30 is three pin.

Am I wrong or - if you put a two pin on it'll work fine, the 3rd pin is just a shunt to earth?

Are you changing the relay to suite the LED indicators?

LED relays are usually 3 pin types, normal incandescent lamp relays can be 2 or 3 pin but NC30 OEM is 3 pin.
