NC30 - couple of questions

Hey
Does anyone know the stock position for the forks in the clamps? Can't see anything in the manual. Mine are currently set flush with the top yoke.
Also, there 3 yellow wires coming form an OE NC30 stator to the reg/rec. If you are replacing a stator, does the order of these wires to the reg/rec matter? I'm guessing not seeing as they all use the same color, but thought I'd check
Thanks
Luke

I have always believed that they should sit at the same level as the top of the stanchion.
Yellow wires make no difference in order I don't think.

Haynes manual refers to sliding the fork leg through the clamps until the circlip at the top of the fork leg butts against the lower edge handlebar. If you follow this process I believe you will find that this also results in the top cap being flush with the top surface of the yoke.
In answer to your second question, the order of yellow wires does not matter.

As above you should have about 2-3mm of fork pertruding from the yoke when the circlip hits the groove in the clip on

Cheers for all the replies! I have aftermarket clip-ons, so I can't use the handlebar method.
However, now I have 2 answers:- flush and 2-3mm?

2-3mm not flush.

I stand corrected, 2-3mm is correct.
