• Pitted Stanchions How do i remove the nuckles?

Hi my stanchions (GK76A SP) are pitted pritty Bad i take it the tubes unscrew from the knuckles with a bit of heat i think but there seams toB a small screw in in the side think it must be a retaining screw it looks like some sort of phillips head on it not sure?dont want to damage it with the wrong tool.Also does any one know where i can get new stantions or a recommended rechroming company (in the midlands if pos) Thanks TK

There use to be a place in Penkridge that rechromed forks, they advertised in the main bike papers.
