Recovered seat

So after getting sick of smacking my man jewels on the tank and not feeling like i could really wrestle the bike as i wanted it i have recovered my seat.

Material came from Saxon seats and cost about £15 delivered. I went for the 'Weave' type.

http://www.saxonseats.co.uk/index.php?c ... &Itemid=86

Fitting was a simple case of getting my heavy duty staple gun and stretching the material over the seat and, with the help of an assistant keeping things tight, stapling away. Job done.

Took it out for a 2 hour ride and its made a huge difference. I feel much more in control of the bike and my nuts are happy.

I've left the pillion as i never take anyone on the back but for an extra fiver i could have got a piece of material large enough to do both.

Piccies of the finished item below.

I've done a lot of work this winter bringing her up to standard. Wheels, tryes, brakes, chain, sprocket, forks etc etc.
