Hi ive bought what i think is a 3tj rrsp rear wheel to fit into my reverse cylinder Yam and wondered what the correct tyre size is to run? 150 or 160? Size is a 4.50 by 17".

Damn, got a new 140/70 BT090 Pro in the shed I was hoping to use. Too small I take it for the rear???

Got it for an FZR250 3LN which I sold before I fitted it.

150 rear profile is standard across the tj range
but most peeps run a 160 rear, only problem you may have is the chain guard but mine had been trimmed by previous owner, so no probs

Yamaha quote the size as a 160/60 17
Normally a 160 would be on a 5" rim and a 150 would be on a 4.5" the wider tyre is pinched which raises the back a little.
