Ok, so the hybrid is up for sale (see the for sale section), but whay would you pay for it? Please be sensible, i really need to clear the garage to make way for the next project.......

Hi Nick,
It's a sad thing, but a 4/6 is still seen as 'only' a 400 that's had a 600 engine put in it. I think it'll only ever fetch as much as a very good, standard 3TJ, say around £1200-£1300 and a 'good' FZR600R will command a higher price. It's crap and makes no sense at all, but that's what I've found over the last couple of years.
Here's a hypothetical example of trying to sell a hybrid-
Buyer- So it's a 400 with a 600 engine, yeah?
Seller- Yes. It is advertised as such.
B- You're asking £1200 for it?
S- Yes.
B- But there's a fella with a mint FZR600 for sale for the same price, will you take £900 cos yours is only a 400.
S- But it's got a 600 engine and electrics, and is effectively the FZR600 that Yamaha should've built nine years before they released the R6. It's smaller and lighter than an original R6 and is better than an FZR600 in every single way.
B- Yeah, but it's only a 400 though.

Kayla, painful, but so true.......
Oh well, I'd never have got anywhere near the money back i've ploughed into it! Would just like to get enough to fund the next project......
With all the extra wheels, tyres etc..... i'm sure someone will come along and give me more than just a mars bar (lol @ Boris!!!)
