My speedo seems to be inaccurate. When the speedo shows 60mph my satnav reeds about 50mph. It seems to be inaccurate at all speeds.

I have replaced the speedo drive and the nylon bush that is attached to it.

I was wondering if all NC35 speedos are inaccurate and only satnav is accurate?

Please help.

what size sprockets does it have?

I don't know what size sprockets it has, as I haven't changed them since I bought the bike.

It seems to be ok now since fitting a speedo converter between the back of the speedo and the cable.

That could happen if the speed dial has been changed to an aftermarket one. There is some preload on the speedo needle as standard, and when you remove the needle to replace the dial, the spring is released. When you re-assemble the speedo you have to make sure that the preload on the spring is correct. I did it by mounting the dial, attaching the needle and then turn the spindle until the 180km/h limit kicks in. When in that position, I adjusted the needle on the spindle so it pointed at 180km/h, and now my speedo is surprisingly accurate.

Ok, I might try this.

I rode the bike earlier today and the satnav speedo is the same as the bikes speedo, up until around 30 - 40 mph, then the satnav is about 7 - 10 mph faster than the speedo.

I was wondering if this is normal?

All speedos read faster than actuall speed, approx 5%.
It's a built in factor to protect the supplier from any speeding offences...well, it was when I worked for IBC producing Frontera'a and Movano's about 10 years ago

I was wondering why the speedo is showing the same speed as the sat nav only until around 30 - 40 mph, then the satnav speed is at least 7 - 9mph more than the speedo. The speedo face has been changed, but I don't understand why it matches the sat nav speed only until 30 - 40mph. I also don't understand how to reset the needle if it needs to be?

Does anybody know if the NC29 clocks are the same as the NC35 ones?
