okay, so today i came up with this crazy ram air idea... im not sure what you guys will think of it. but here is the concept i drew out today. its not 100% i just want some input.. will it work, or not etc..
the hoses are gonna be lined up directly vertically down onto each carb.. but they will no go over the carb holes... this will allow the bikes normal air induction system to work as well as the ram air....
please dont swear at me or call me a stupid ****** because ive had a lot of that on here

... i JUST want to know if it will work or not....

yes, yes i think i will try it... i just need to decide weather i wanna run the bike without a filter first...... maybe i can remove the filter and insert some sort of thin foam IN to the ram air pipes AND into the bikes original induction source... that way i can have some bug and dirt free engine? or will that not work?

Do you actually know what the ram air concept is?
This won't work.
Carbs need larger volumes of air - but it needs to be still/ not turbulent, hence the need for larger airboxes or no airbox at all with the void under the tank being sealed acting like a huge airbox.
More research needed

For a road bike I wouldn't bother.. the speeds you'll need to achieve to see real benefit won't be viable on public roads.
if you are hell bent on making it, goto a search engine like google and search for diy ram air projects, as well as on here, you'll find lots of information on how it works and how people have overcome various problems.
In simple terms you don't want to feed air directly into the carbs.. you want to slow it down and create a lot of pressure in a big airbox.

If you're dead set on a RAM Air system, take a look at the Yamaha Thundercat for inspiration. They were the first mass production road bike to have a true RAM Air induction system.

Or just use the same ram air system everyone does on their V4's

The one that the top tuners in the game have spent time developing and racing for years now. I wouldnt use it on the road tho, its not exactly user friendly.
