Ok so the list of things to do is as follows:
Fork seals
Fork adjuster, the little brass flathead isnt clicking but i do not know how to replace this can anyone shed some light?
Rick o fork internals while im doing the seals
get the shock refurbed or maybe fit a maxton
Lower rad
screen brace
new carb rubbers - changed when i did the valve clearances
Rebuild the front brake calipers. 1992 blade ones fitted atm but im going back to original
do the usual mods to the carbs, shim the needles etc.

Thats pretty much everything i can think of now, im not going to start thinking about cosmetics untill the important stuff is sorted. Anyway a few pics of things ive bought over the last few weeks:

Image
RLR alloy lower rad, Bought second hand from aly looks in worse condition than it is btw.
Image
Rickys fork uprate kit and seals
Image
Second hand screen brace in fair condition but needs repainting so im going to send it to a local sprayer as a bit of a trail for my bodywork
Image
And finally a pic of the bike how she stands as of today
Image

I think thats all im going to be buying this month, should have the forks all done by sunday so i will get a few pics of them stripped down. I just hope i can find out how to replace the fork adjusters seeing as the haynes doesnt explain how.

Just in the process of changing my rads, the bottom ones get blocked badly and the fins turn to dust, you must have dropped lucky on a good second hand one. My bike is also in the Castrol colours but it is with stickers, looks good at the moment but i may get it painted at some stage. Good luck with the resto.

Fork seals and uprate kit finished yesterday afternoon, they are so much better anyone thinking of getting the kit from rick-o, do it! Well worth the money and an easy job to do. No pics sadly as the camera was out of charge.

Nothing much to report, had to order a new front left indicator after i whacked a pheasant that took it off and cracked my nosecone  and just waiting on my samco hoses to come through from jap 4 so i can get the rad installed. Also i think i have decided what colour scheme and mods i want to end up with heres a few picsImage Image
Its going to be a ballache getting a tank like that but early honda RS250 ones look very similar so thats a possibility, dont think im ever going to find a HRC nosecone so im stumped on that for now, and i have allways loved the look of those discs so thats going to be one of the first things to look for. Going to try and find some magteks and im not sure what to go for exhaust wise but im thinking Ti.

So what do you think? Suggestions on anything are more than welcome.

Got a few bits done over the last few weeks nothing too interesting really:
Image
Tasty renthals and +10bhp gold chain :P fitted last week.

Decided to give the calipers a good clean as its been close to a year since i gave them a good scrub below are a few before and after pics, quite a shocking diffrence,

A winters salt and shit hasnt been nice to my calipers
Image
Sorry for the shit pics, but they did clean up nicely but i had to free up a few of the pistons they are loads better now that ive cleaned and bled them.

Sorry theres nothing of great interest yet but things are moving on a bit now i have got most of the basics sorted, also won a spare set of carbs on ebay that are going to get the full HRC treatment which will be interesting. After a decent engine to go in now and that will be the essential stuff sorted out, going to get a load of pics of the old motor stripped down, going to be really interesting to open one of these beautys up.
