Hi guys
Im new to the site and got my nc30 recently
My bike seems to struggle at low down revs between 1 - 5000rpm. I did cammo guide to cleaning carbs and its still not idling or revving properly low down. Once the bike start to get to higher revs it runs smooth. Bought new plugs and will be fitting them tomorrow some time. Any ideas on what the problem could be.
Thanx

Could be an air leak somewhere thats closing as you increase the revs, the carbs may not have seated properly when you put them back on. Also did you use new float bowl gaskets when you reassembled the carbs?

Didnt replace anything just had evrything cleaned.
The bike was doing this since i got it so i doubt that its not placed properly.
How would i go about finding the air leak?

Did you use any gasket sealant on the float bowl gaskets when you put them back on after cleaning? If not i would get that sorted before moving on to something else. The best way to find an air leak in the carb inlet rubbers would be to get some brake cleaner and with the engine running spray some near the inlet rubbers and if the revs increase you have an air leak, and can go about tightening the clamp screws or replacing the rubbers entirely which i would suggest anyway as they could well be nearly 22 years old and going brittle by now.
Hope that helps mate.
