It looks like my handlebars could be a bit higher without hitting the tank - a previous owner has apparently bent mine up a bit to accomplish this, assuming this is not the stock configuration. I tried the one-piece clip on from an SV650, but it brought the bar up only to where it already sits. Otherwise these would work for unbent bars. VFR750 clip-ons have the bar positioned to far back. I see that Woodcraft makes a three-piece riser in several heights, but am wondering if there is a stock production part from some other bike that would work. If not, can anyone tell me what height aftermarket riser to get? And how did Honda ever let this bike go with the speedo/clutch lever interference?

Rick Oliver sells bars with an increased height, would be a safe bet as you'd know that cables etc will fit them fine.

I had cbx550 raised clip-ons on my NC24 and on my currenr NC21.The cbx550 has 35ml forks so I had to get an engineering shop to ream them out for me.I feel that gives a perfect riding position, but I do not have the full fairing.and they use the same bar-end weights as the NC21/24.Another alternative would be the raised clip-ons from a vf400 but they are also 35ml

I had a look at the Woodcraft ones last night online and went through their fitment guide etc. For an NC30 I think 41mm is the correct size for the fork legs and when I followed their measuring guide, you would get whatever rise the woodcraft ones offer minus 1.5 inches. So a 2 inch rise woodcraft would offer half an inch over standard, a 3 inch woodcraft would offer 1.5 inch over standard. Be careful with clearance and cables though.

I would like to know if any one has used any risers successfully and if so which ones. I've wondered if you could reduce the angle of the bars at the existing height, and what comfort difference this would make?
