Afternoon all just fitted new rubber on the rear had the back end all stripped over the winter regreased everything powder coated the swingarm re routed the brake line and today after a little bit of effort started her up connected up the tail light which works but no brake light. I've tried two lights before the obvious bulb answer unfortunately front calipers are off ATM until tomorrow. So any ideas? As stated above it's an inline banjo switch not the spring was all working fine before the winter both cables look fine and the connector. But like I say until tomorrow can't check the front.

If you have a multimeter, set it to ohms and connect the leads to the terminals of the switch, press rear brake and check for continuity. A test lamp is another option, can describe how to make one if needed.

Many thanks will be checking in a bit before I wake the neighbours!! Will let you know how it goes. I may have to strip it and check the switch inside to make sure it's free to move if the electric check don't work.

Brake switch sorted. Stripped it down cleaned up the contacts inside. So MOT and Tax then bring on the summer.
