NC30 Indicators problem.

Hi guys,
I've got the MOT due shortly on my bike and have an issue with the indicators. When out riding they work fine if I simply want to turn left or right, they come on OK and cancel OK. Its when I indicate one way, for example on a roundabout, and then want to exit the roundabout so switch the indicators over, they wont switch over. Has anyone got any ideas what the issue might be and how to check?
Mechanicals I'm fine with but electrics are a mystery!
Thanks,
Paul.

It may be a problem with the wiring which may be manifesting itself when turning the handlebars; turn the handlebars from side to side and switch the indies on Left & Right, to see if that's the problem.
Or maybe it's the switch contacts; open up the indicator switch and give it a clean to see if that cures it.

Had this with mine a few weeks ago. I just opened the switch gear and cleaned it with carb cleaner and cotton buds. Works spot on now.

Thanks for the help guys, I'm 'working from home' tomorrow so hoping to get this job done and will post the results.
PS Would GT85 spray do the job?

Followed the advice and opened up the switchgear, dismantled the indicator mechanism and found tons of crud on the contacts. Cleaned up with WD40 and cotton buds, put it back together and it now works a treat!!
Thanks for the advice,
Paul.
