Hi has anybody had probs with the fuel tap diaphram??.It seems that the tap is letting fuel by constantly even when the vacum is disconnected, when the tank is off it is possible to blow air into the tank(through the breather pipe) to hear air seeping out of the tap .its hard to find any pin holes,so i'm not sure if this is the problem its making the bike over fuel & run poorly....

What happens when you turn the tap to "off"? Does fuel still go through? If so, then it looks like you need to rebuild the tap. If the bike is "over fueling" then there is most likely a problem in your floats. They are either set at the incorrect level or the seats are not sealing. Might just need a carb clean.

I have a problem with my diaphragm or something to do with it, thats why i have to run it with no diaphragm so my bike is probably over fueling it doesn't run poorly though. I've rebuilt my tap and the bike just wouldn't run at all so i don't know whats wrong with it, it only runs with the hrc fuel tap mod which i have to put up with coz no1 knows why it wont run normally. i've learnt to live with it though an have had no problems with it touch wood!

It shouldn't over-fuel if your float chambers are all as they should be.
