I know this is against forum policy but I would like to buy another bike in 2 -4 weeks anything tidy be considered a fzr would be lovely but would like to have a big bike with my 400! Pm me if you have or know something will come up in the timescale! Price £1000 to £1200 or thereabouts!

If you want something for a longer jorney with Mrs Mark on the back you could pick up a YZF750, the later ones have better suspension so look for on of those. If you want to be rather quick down a French motoray with Mrs Mark on the back then a ThunderAce might suit. The 750 is a bit more sporty and a bit lighter on it's feet. Yam couldn't match the Blase of the time in the sportbike dept so they made the Ace is a very good all rounder until the R1 was ready.
There are equivalent bikes made by other manufacturers
