Is there any diagrams or pictures showing the correct routing for the choke cable?
i have the choke cable working however it sticks on slightly
when i pull the lever back to switch off the choke it pulls back on a little
anyone able to shed some light?

Hmm, if it's an NC30 the choke should be 'pushed' down to switch off the choke, the 35 is on the bars but you'd still push that down to switch off?! Unless I'm mistaken?!!

Just read what bikes you have!
On the 30 the choke cable end should be screwed down so the end is pointing to the carb lever(to the left) this is then clamped a little further back (to the right) and is fed around the carbs down the right hand side and around the back and down to the adjuster on the left of the bike. I hope that makes some sense?!

the actual cable run?

from the choke on the carbs I (used to) run it backwards round the base plate on the right hand side and across the back of the carbs tray and then down to the infill panel.

it is a long cable, it can reach that way round... I do not think it goes into the choke and with a tight loop from the left side.

i think that is how i have it setup at the moment
the cable is not tight and has a healthy amount of slack it just doesnt want to stay closed

When I put my restrictor kit in I noticed by choke cable was pulled back closed with a spring zip-tied to the top throttle cable mount on the carb. The choke wouldn't close properly without it.

Hope that helps

I don't know if this helps or not, but I snapped a few pictures as I was dismantling my bike of how various cables were routed. Sorry about the crappy picture quality, but this is how mine was routed and it seemed to work fine before I dismantled it.
