Don't want to spend £60 on a carb syncing device for my NC29. Heard a few people that have made one from scratch?
If anyone knows how to sync my carbs without spending a bomb, feel free to let me know...!

Only done it once with a relativly cheap device off ebay that done one carb at a time. It worked but in all honesty if doing it again I would buy a 4 guage vac device of ebay as its so much hassle taking carbs on and off to get your hands in to the vac pipes ..

can pick balancers up for £36 off ebay mate:

Plus it will save you money in the long run if you clean your carbs in the future and need to balance again, no good doing them 1 at a time because you have to sync all 4 of them so they match, which cant be done properly by one at a time

I made my own out of fish tank tube!
Made 4 pipes all the same length around 6 foot, then clipped them to front and back of a board so they made a U shape.
Filled them with water so they were all level and clamped the top so there was around 10cm air gap at the top.
Plugged the other ends on the carbs and started the bike.
The water level dropped around 3-5cm in each tube, and then balanced from there.
Had to play around with the air gap at the top at first. But it worked fine.
That was a few years ago and I was skint, now I would probably just buy a set from ebay.
